Apple the giant smartphone maker has recently launched new iPhone models namely iPhone 8, iPhone 7 Plus with many new features. The company is now struggling to maintain and improve the sale of iPhone 8 device which is affected due to the launch of iPhone X. However, the company is also struggling with the limited supply issues of iPhone X due to which its launch is delayed.
Since past few weeks, Apple is facing limited supply issues, but it was expected that this year some units of iPhone X will be sold. However, considering the present scenario, the company is still facing difficulty in maintaining its numbers. The recent news suggests that only half units of iPhone X can be sold this year.
The latest report suggests that even after a month, this problem still persist and iPhone X is still facing this issue which is a severe problem. This is affecting both the iPhone 8 and iPhone X devices as people are waiting for the launch of iPhone X to compare which one is the best smartphone device.
Although the pre-orders for the iPhone X will begin from October 27, this device won’t be shipped until January 2018. It seems that user needs to be lucky in order to receive the iPhone X shipment this year immediately after booking it. During the launch of iPhone X, the company has planned to ship at least 40 million units of this smartphone. But now the Nikkei Asian Review report suggests that Apple is even struggling to ship half of the expected numbers.
Considering the present scenario, it seems that the company won’t be able to meet the high consumer demands. Also, the people who were interested in purchasing iPhone 8 are now waiting for the release of iPhone X to decide which one is better.
The delay caused by shipping the smartphone and maintain its appropriate supply may be due to the inclusion of an OLED display. Apple has to still depend on third-party OLED display providers. Another reason behind the delay may be that the company is trying to resolve the issue which may pop-up due to facial recognition feature.
