T-Mobile is giving a hard-hitting answer to its rival Sprint by progressing its LTE Advanced Network. T-Mobile comes with Snapdragon Gigabit LTE modems. LTE Advanced Networks helps these devices to work more speedily having a download speed of 611 megabytes per second.
The current speed of the LTE mobile network without changes made was 23 megabytes per second. The new deal made by T-Mobile has motivated Sprint to sound stronger and improve its network to defeat rival companies including T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T.
Two years ago, T-Mobile stood at the third position to deliver best wireless networks to its users which were fastest and toughest among all. Sprint previously found it difficult to compete with T-Mobile and now it has become almost impossible for the company to be on track in the race.
What better can T-Mobile offer?
The company announced to improve and twofold the speed of LTE advanced network than earlier which is more than enough to blow off Sprint. According to Ookla speed test, T-Mobile stood at the fourth position in the race of delivering most improved and fastest speed of internet connection. Its speed was worth-noticing. It raised by almost 33 percent since 2016.
There was a noticeable change in the Sprint’s network as well. The speed rate improved by 86 percent in Atlanta while in Colorado and Washington, it showed an improvement of 44 percent and 45 percent respectively.
At the bottom line, these improvements are not much astounding as compared to T-Mobile outcomes. “Sprint has made a lot of progress, but still it lags somewhere”, said Ilan Nicholas, an analyst of Sprint.
The company has to put a lot of efforts to make its position next to T-Mobile. By that time, financiers should keep a safe distance with the company’s network. Sprint will take a considerable amount of time making everything work above user’s expectations but all that we could do today is leave Sprint unaccompanied some period of time.
